The XCUITest driver couldn't build WebDriverAgent, the helper app Appium installs on the device. On real iPhones this is almost always a code-signing problem.

Why this happens
Testing on a real device without a valid signing team (`xcodeOrgId`) and signing identity (`xcodeSigningId`) set
WebDriverAgent's bundle ID clashes with one already registered to another Apple team
The device isn't trusted, Developer Mode is turned off, or the provisioning profile has expired
Xcode was updated and the WebDriverAgent build cache is stale
How to fix it
Set `appium:xcodeOrgId`, `appium:xcodeSigningId` (usually `Apple Development`), and a unique `appium:updatedWDABundleId`
Open WebDriverAgent.xcodeproj in Xcode once, pick your team, and build it to the device manually. Xcode's error message is far clearer than Appium's
Enable Developer Mode on the device and trust the developer certificate under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
